Apple To Debut New iPhone On September 10

Old habits are hard to break and this is true even for our favorite firm from Cupertino as this report says the Big A will have a media event this coming September 10 – and what do you know? – it’s a Tuesday which seems to be the day favoured by Apple to announce its new wares and software.

From allthingsd:

Apple is expected to unveil its next iPhone at a special event on Sept. 10. The launch comes at an important time for Apple, which continues to make a lot of money from the iPhone but has seen its global market share dip amid a growing wave of lower-cost Android devices as well as an intense battle with arch rival Samsung.

We’re almost a hundred per cent sure that the next iteration of Apple’s flagship mobile handset would be called the iPhone 5S, similar to previous releases by Apple, you know, iPhone 3G, then 3GS; the iPhone 4, then 4S – with the mandatory updates/upgrades like a faster processor, better camera optics with slow motion video capture and don’t forget the hotly-rumored fingerprint sensor beneath the home button.

As for a flagship mobile, Apple will surely take care of that, but what about the rumored low-budget/low-cost iPhone for the masses?  The so-called iPhone 5C which have been hogging the headlines lately?

Will the recently christened iPhone 5C, which is said to have almost identical inners with its not-so low-cost sibling, but will have a plastic enclosure and come in a variety of colors, be introduced also during this September event?

I think people are more interested about this iPhone since this would be the first time Apple will introduce a budget-friendly unit alongside its premier handset.  As Apple introduce its latest flagship mobile, there are those who want to save some cash and previously, Apple took care of them by offering its previous gen iDevices at a discounted price (usually $100 less than the latest model).   But this time, it appears that the fruit company will give us all a treat by unleashing not one but two handsets – each with its own target audience.

Sale of Apple’s iPhone had been suffering because the market has been bombarded by cheap android units especially those coming from its biggest rival, Samsung, and to address this seemingly unending gadget spam, Apple has been working on a low-budget iPhone for the masses which, if we are lucky, would be introduced together with the iPhone 5S this September.

Great timing for Apple as the holiday season is just around the corner and you know what that means…

Keeping you updated on all things Apple.

Making it personal, always.
