My Dream iPad Stand by HumanToolz
I’ve been waiting for an iPad stand and/or case that is able to adjust for multiple viewing angles. So far, I haven’t found anything that meets my needs…
But there’s hope 
… sorta…
A company named HumanToolz has created at least one working demo of the perfect iPad stand – it’s called Mobile Stand (boring name) and it’s a Kickstarter project.
If you watch the video, you’ll see HumanToolz founder Brett Faulk talk about the stand. He said the stand is in production and will retail for $90, but they need help marketing the product… that’s why it’s on Kickstarter.
Details of the Mobile Stand for iPad 3
Unfortunately for me, they’re only making the stand for third generation iPads (a.k.a. iPad 3). So it won’t work with my iPad 2 
Here’s why it would be the perfect iPad stand for me:
- Made from polished aluminum
- Thin and Light (only 2.5 ounces)
- Works best in landscape
- Any viewing angle possible
- Fits with Smart Cover
- Protects the back of the iPad
- Looks sexy

I’d love to have this stand, seriously. It’s perfect. If I had an iPad 3, I’d be giving some money to Kickstarter. But I have the iPad 2 so instead I’ll be crying myself to sleep.
