iPhone 5 Going Global This December
It’s obvious that the most desirable smartphone for almost all tech geeks right now is the iPhone 5. I could be in for a lot of flak by saying that, I know, but if given the choice between the competition’s flagship smartphone and the iPhone 5, what would you choose? Right.
Yes, I’ve used other smartphones too just to see how they compare to Apple’s latest outing and I have to admit, some of them do offer a user experience which comes close to the iPhone’s, but then again it’s the iPhone’s coolness factor that totally blow the competition out of the water.
And we just can’t get enough of Apple’s iDevices just yet.
Now, the rest of the world can further experience this coolness I’m talking about because Apple will be rolling out its latest iPhone to more than 50 countries this December.
The iPhone 5 was released in the US and some other countries last September while the rest of the world patiently waited for it to be unleashed in their respective countries. Of course there will always be those enterprising individuals who will capitalize on the iPhone’s popularity and demand by sneaking it in into their respective countries “unofficially” thus making lots of profit in the process. Prices for these unofficial releases can range from $699 and up for the base configuration so you have an idea how much in demand the iPhone 5 really is.
But with this good news, the following countries will be finally blessed by the iPhone 5’s official entry come December 14 : Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Ecuador, Grenada, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Jordan, Kuwait, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Montenegro, Panama, Paraguay, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela.
On December 21, another set of countries will see the iPhone 5 in their favourite carriers which include: Barbados, Botswana, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Egypt, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St.Vincent & the Grenadines, Tunisia, Uganda, and Vietnam.
If you’ve been saving up for the iPhone 5 and you are living in one of the countries mentioned above then you’re in for a real treat since you’ll get your hands on Apple’s most wanted iDevice just in time for Christmas.
