Fruit Ninja for iPhone is by far the most entertaining game I’ve ever played on the iPhone. It’s a very easy game to understand. All you need to do is to use your fingers to “slice” the fruits that are tossed in your screen.
Be careful though because bombs are tossed as well. Depending on the game mode that you’re playing, the bombs could either deduct points from your total score or end the game instantly.
There are three game modes in Fruit Ninja:
- Classic
- Zen
- Arcade
Classic
In Classic mode, you can’t have unsliced fruits or else one of your three lives will be taken away from you. This is also where you can’t slice the bombs because when they explode, it’s pretty much game over for you.
Classic mode is probably the hardest of the three. You can’t miss a fruit and you can’t hit a single bomb.
Zen
Zen mode is what I like to call the relaxed mode. Why? Mainly because you are given 1 minute and 30 seconds to slice as much fruit as you can – and there are no bombs to instantly end your game. This is why I think Zen mode is the easiest mode among the 3.
Arcade
My favorite is Arcade mode. It’s a bit easier than Classic, but a lot more fun. You’re given 60 seconds to score as many points as you can. The more fruits you slice, the higher your score will be. Combos are also very important in this mode. They enable you to score extra points by slicing 3 or more fruits in one swipe. The Bombs only deduct 10 points from your score.

Fruit Ninja for iPhone
This game is perfect when you’re trying to pass the time, whether you’re waiting for a flight , standing in line or simply just trying to kill boredom (at work?) Fruit Ninja is a very entertaining game that you can play for hours and hours. So if you don’t have this game on your iPhone, I suggest you get it right away. It’s only $0.99, just a small price to pay. (Yes, I have a thing for rhymes).
