The Apple Store Dance Off

What’s the Apple Store Dance Off?

People of all ages are going into Apple Stores, taking command of a Mac, blasting music from iTunes and dancing their hearts out… While the iSight on the Mac records the entire show.

When the dancing stops and the video has been edited, the miracle know as “the internets” takes over. The videos are uploaded to YouTube for the world to enjoy (and dance along) and a viral video is born.

I had no idea dancing in Apple Stores was a thing

The video at the top of this post was emailed to me by someone known as “Shurwitz.” To be clear, I don’t know Shurwitz or any of the Apple Store Dancers. But, I have to say THANK YOU to Shurwitz for sending the link!

If you haven’t already, watch the video at the top of this post. I wasn’t really into it – until 2:15 when iTr3vor goes slo-mo. It’s awesome and worth a look.

The Apple Store Dance Off is definitely a thing

iTr3vor has danced in several Apple Stores and his videos are getting insane numbers of views – one of them has over 810,000 views. Another has over 540,000.

If you’re in the mood, take a peek at iTr3vor’s YouTube page here: http://www.youtube.com/user/iTr3vor

And iTr3vor isn’t the only Apple Store dancer. There are many other people making videos and they’ve been doing it since November 2008. Here are a few other dances for your viewing pleasure:

Who’s the BEST Apple Store Dancer?

Tpindell gets my vote for the best Apple Store dance. Why? This dance includes the Running Man AND… AND the Carlton. Obviously, you can’t top that – ever. Plus, he added hilarious comments. Watch and learn:

You got the next big thing?

This is the 2nd email tip I’ve gotten lately. So, I’ll just say it: If you’ve got something you want to share with other Apple Sluts, contact me and I’ll probably write a post about it… As long as it’s super awesome, of course.
